Review of Closure by Kim Carmichael!!!

BOOK DESCRIPTION
There's always the one…

He's one person throughout life you think about every so often, the one who leaves his unique indelible mark on you, the person with whom you need closure.

For Margaret Collins that person was Mike Taylor. After he broke her heart seventeen years ago, she left everything she knew and reinvented herself. With a new home, a new look and a new name, Riley Williams is now an up and coming journalist given the assignment to interview a Mike Taylor. She never suspected he would be her Mike Taylor.

With Mike having no hint of Riley's true identity, she must decide if she will make him pay for sins he doesn't remember committing, or if she can wipe away the past and be with the one man who she has always wanted?

Can she finally have closure?

This book surprised me, and I love it what that happens.  I don't read many Erotica books, because I always end up disappointed half way through the book.

The only thing that disappointed me about this was it was so short!  I wanted more!!

Riley gets the shock of her life when the person she's interviewing is the the boy from highschool who broke her heart.  When she was Margaret Collins, she fell in love with Mike Taylor.  She thought he felt the same way, but in the end, he didn't.  Because of this, she reinvented her self.  Gave herself a new look, a new name, and a new state.

Now, he is sitting in front of her with no clue who she is.  What she didn't expect was him being bound and determined to get to know her.  In more ways then one!!  The only problem? He's still the control freak he was in highschool.  He still plans everything down to the minute and has to have control over every part of their time together.

Until he meets Riley.

One of the things I loved about this book, was that Riley was able to take the control from Mike.  She was always keeping him on his toes, and making him guess what was going to happen.  She wasn't the typical woman to him and he loved that about her.  She was edgy and more then slightly naughty, which drew him to her.  There's a connection with her that he didn't expect.

For Riley, she still feels this connection they had in highschool.  She knows she has to come clean about who she is, but is scared about how he's going to react.  She's under the impression that money and work are more important to him.  Soon she realizes how wrong she is.

Once Mike finds out that Rily is, in fact, Margaret, the girl from school he always wanted, he's angry.  Also, he's hellbent on making her pay for lying to him.  You what they say about the best laid plans... his goes totally awry... She's still the woman he fell for in highschool, and this time he's not going to lose her.

As I said before, I'm not really into Erotica's, but I'm always willing to give a book a chance!  I'm really happy I gave this one a chance!!  I loved the characters, and the storyline!  I was a little concerned that Mike was going to always be in control of every situation, but was happy to see Riley take the reins once in awhile with him.
